Very well done, lovely detail, nice and sharp, difficult shot too. I recently came into the possession of a 400mm lens and really want to go take some bird shots, this is very inspiring.

Wow! I did a seagull picture recently, those are hard to do! Only thing I would personally recommend is a richer background. Either way I love it, but perhaps a deeper blue or something to contrast the color of the bird would help accent the shot. Thanks for posting it!

@Immersed Photography: Hi Sheldon, thanks. I try not and post process too much especially with nature/wildlife shots because in my mind it ruins a little bit of the "natural" aspect. I think the only thing I did to this shot was the frame. I suppose if I had a polarizer on my telephoto I could have done a bit better. Thanks for the comments and suggestions =)
