Rui I wondered the same thing. Part of the reason might have to do with the filters I used - the split ND's were placed right at the tree line, and the polarizer also enhanced the reflection colors. My gut feeling was that the lake reflected the color better and my camera captured the color of the trees as I was seeing them through the fog but the lake displayed them with its own rendition.
