Jacqui and I stumbled upon this poor raccoon as we were driving through the snow covered terrain of Sleepy Hollow State Park. It was clearly injured, and appeared in our professional opinion to be beyond recovery. The rest is dark history...yes it's sad...but it's trapped in my mind.
